Group HR Specialist - Barcelona
Join the Flowbox team
We’re now looking for a hands-on and people-driven Group HR Specialist to strengthen our People foundations.
If you’re passionate about working with great teams, improving HR processes, and helping out people to thrive, we’d love to meet you.
Flowbox was founded in 2016 and is a fast-growing international tech scale-up. We provide a SaaS platform that helps 1.000+ brands collect authentic content from real customers and creators, manage it, and publish it across their digital touchpoints, all tied back to measurable ROI.
Last year Flowbox acquired the Danish company Dreaminfluence, a leading influencer marketing platform. As of today, Flowbox employs over 50 people across offices in Stockholm, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen.
The role
As our Group HR Specialist, you will run the day-to-day operational engine of our HR department across our four European offices: Barcelona, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam.
You will support the entire employee lifecycle, from managing recruitment logistics and coordinating seamless onboarding, to executing HR / People initiatives, maintaining compliance, updating compensation data, and taking full ownership to oversee our payroll processes.
You will:
Support an international and remotely distributed C-Level and Leadership Team on people initiatives, organisational development, and company-wide projects.
Facilitate and support recruitment campaigns in partnership with department managers. This includes setting up roles within our Applicant Tracking System (Teamtailor), posting and running job ads, and helping managers answer HR-related questions from candidates.
Drive the administrative side of onboarding to set new team members up for success. While designated team leads handle role-specific onboarding, you will manage contracts and serve as the go-to contact for any HR-related questions from new hires, and similarly drive the offboarding process.
Manage employment contracts, local compliance, and HR documentation across our four offices: Barcelona, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam. You will apply a solid working knowledge of local labor laws in Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands, collaborating with local legal partners.
Coordinate with Deel (our global payroll provider) as a payroll Admin, maintaining permanent contact to run payroll cycles and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all payroll-related topics.
Maintain our compensation structures by providing administrative support. This includes updating salary spreadsheets and records, and updating company-wide salary bands with the latest market data prior to our annual performance review cycle.
Support performance review and compensation cycles, and help run learning initiatives that support career growth and company objectives.
Foster our company culture through internal communication, feedback rituals, and company events.
Maintain and optimise our HR tools and related systems.

If you recognise yourself in this, you might be the one we’re looking for 💜
You're hands-on at heart. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to keep day-to-day HR operations running smoothly, onboarding new hires, managing contracts and documentation and you find energy in keeping tasks and deadlines on track.
You take full ownership of your responsibilities. When you commit to something, people know it gets done on time, with quality and integrity. You thrive in environments with high trust and high accountability.
You care about people and you also believe that strong cultures are built on clarity, fairness, and consistency. You’re the kind of HR professional who brings both heart and structure to the table.
You see yourself as a partner to the business. You have a holistic view and understand how people processes connect to wider company goals, and you're a dependable point of contact for managers and employees alike.
You’re energized by working across borders, with colleagues and employees spread across several geographies. You’re curious about cultural differences rather than thrown by them, you adapt your communication style to the person in front of you, and you know how to balance local nuance with one consistent, fair company standard.
You bring positive intent to every interaction, even when dealing with sensitive or high-stakes topics. People know you’ll listen, treat them fairly, and act with empathy, but also make the right call when it matters most.
If this sounds like you, you’ll feel right at home at Flowbox.
