About the team
You will be a part of a young, international and entrepreneurial environment. The finance team at Flowbox continuously assesses and evaluates the company's financial performance in relation to operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. The team also drives the company's financial strategy and planning.
The Junior Business Controller works closely with the Head of Finance who is responsible for daily accounting work, annual reporting and the audit and with the CFO who is leading long-term initiatives related to scaling in existing as well as new markets. Together, they guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.
Your mission 🚀
Flowbox is in the midst of entering the next phase of expansion. As a Junior Business Controller at Flowbox, you will be supporting the finance team in their daily activities.
Your main focus will be on analytics, subscription management and invoicing. On a daily basis you will also be working with collection, monthly and yearly reporting, following up with our customers to make sure that all deals are accounted for and paid for. Here at Flowbox all teams are cross-functional, so you will work closely with other teams like Sales and Customer Success regarding accounting related questions.
Besides that, you will participate in the financial projects that support the company's growth.
Above marks some of your responsibilities, but as we are growing the role will most likely develop!
We value soft skills over hard skills, therefore it’s a big plus if you have a lot of drive and “let’s make it happen” attitude 😊 You will be working closely with the finance team in the company so relationship-building skills will come handy. This role implies a lot of freedom and decision-making, so we are looking for someone who is autonomous and ready to take ownership.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- You might be a fresh graduate or have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role - it’s a plus if it was within the SaaS industry.
- You have a degree in finance.
- Advanced Excel skills are highly appreciated.
- You are fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
- We are a tech company, so it’s great if you are interested in IT and systems.
Why join Flowbox?
Flowbox offers a fast-moving and, at the same time, relaxed work environment in modern premises in the heart of Östermalm, Stockholm. In exchange for your experience, Flowbox will offer you an environment with plenty of opportunities to learn where you will have the chance to influence and take a lot of ownership while working with an exciting product in an expansive company.
You will have large responsibilities and great career opportunities. You will work with a wide and modern tech stack; as one of our teammates says: “if you work at Flowbox, you will be able to work anywhere”. We want to accomplish our goals, but we need your help to do so.
More about our perks
- Startup style and spirit
- Free snacks & drinks at the office
